The pyramid shaped primary packaging of the soulmate perfume has designed to create fragrances that encompass masculine and feminine notes in order to appeal to the couple. Perfume packaging can contain two types of fragrances, allowing the couple user to be different during day and at night. The bottle split into two parts by dividing it diagonally, each holding different scent for individual dispenser and perfume two block fit together like soulmate feel together intact .

Soulmate Perfume is a unisex fragrance designed for loving couples, featuring two distinct scents in one pyramid shaped bottle. The design reflects the union of masculine and feminine energies the upward-pointing triangle symbolizes masculinity and fire, while the downward-pointing triangle represents femininity and earth. Splitting the pyramid diagonally creates two complementary halves that fit perfectly together, embodying the bond, love, and harmony between two individuals. This dual-fragrance concept invites couples to celebrate their unique connection through a beautiful blend of masculine and feminine notes .

The pyramid shape of Soulmate Perfume Primary Packaging seems to carry deep symbolic meaning - how did you translate the concepts of harmony, unity, and the masculine-feminine duality into the physical design elements?

the pyramid shape was central to expressing those themes. In symbolism, an upward-pointing triangle represents the masculine principle and fire, while a downward-pointing triangle reflects the feminine principle and earth. By splitting the pyramid diagonally, we brought these two energies together in a dynamic, interlocking form.The two halves each housing a distinct fragrance physically represent individual identities, while their ability to connect and form a complete pyramid symbolizes unity and harmony. The clean lines, balanced proportions, and magnetic closure all reinforce this idea of two becoming one, reflecting the emotional and energetic balance at the heart of the Soulmate concept.

In developing Soulmate Perfume Primary Packaging, what specific technical challenges did you encounter when engineering the two separate chambers to fit together seamlessly while maintaining individual dispensing functionality?

One of the main challenges was figuring out how to interconnect the two halves of the pyramid in a way that felt seamless and intuitive, while still allowing them to function independently. We wanted the connection to be secure but also easy to detach, so we explored several locking and magnetic systems before finalizing a solution that ensured both stability and elegance.The second key challenge was accommodating the sprayer mechanism within the angular geometry of the pyramid. Traditional spray heads are designed for cylindrical or vertical forms, so we had to carefully engineer the internal layout to align the sprayers within the sloped walls without compromising usability or aesthetics. Balancing form and function within such a compact, unconventional shape was a rewarding part of the design process.

Your market research indicated a gap in fragrances that appeal to couples - how did this insight shape the development of Soulmate Perfume Primary Packaging's distinctive features and functionality?

The market insight that there was a gap in fragrances designed specifically for couples was a major driver behind both the concept and functionality of the Soulmate packaging. We didn’t want to simply create two separate perfumes we wanted to physically express the bond between two individuals in the design itself.That insight shaped the idea of a dual-chamber system: each fragrance stands on its own, representing an individual, but when the two halves connect, they form a single, unified structure a metaphor for partnership. It also influenced the decision to make the fragrances wearable separately or layered, giving users the flexibility to reflect personal chemistry or mood.Functionally, it pushed us to ensure both halves were not only aesthetically complementary but also equally functional, with independent sprayers, refill potential, and ergonomic handling so that each person has a complete product, whether used alone or together.

The glass manufacturing process for Soulmate Perfume Primary Packaging must have required precise specifications - could you elaborate on how you achieved the exact dimensional requirements while ensuring both aesthetic appeal and practical functionality?

Since Soulmate Perfume Primary Packaging is currently at the concept stage, we haven not entered full-scale glass production yet. However, from the outset, we have been mindful of the technical feasibility and constraints that come with manufacturing complex glass forms.We have considered the need for tight dimensional tolerances, especially at the diagonal split, where both halves must align precisely to form a seamless pyramid. This informed early decisions on geometry, wall thickness, and how the two pieces would interlock. We also studied the typical shrinkage behavior of molded glass and factored in draft angles and tooling limitations to ensure the design would be compatible with existing production methods.While the design is bold, we’ve made sure it remains practical to mold, cool, and finish including providing enough surface area for stable placement and optimizing the neck design to accommodate standard sprayer heads within the angular form. Moving forward, close collaboration with glass engineers will be key to translating this concept into a manufacturable, high-quality product without compromising its aesthetic impact.

Winning the A' Design Award was incredibly encouraging, as it validated the vision behind Soulmate that fragrance packaging can be more than just a vessel; it can be a symbol of connection and emotion. Soulmate Perfume was designed to embody the bond between masculine and feminine energies not just through scent, but through the very form of the bottle.The dual-chambered, diagonally split pyramid represents two distinct individuals male and female coming together in perfect harmony. This symbolic, interactive design invites users to connect with their partner or express dual aspects of themselves.I believe this kind of emotionally driven, couple-focused packaging speaks to a broader trend: consumers are seeking deeper meaning and personal relevance in the products they choose. Soulmate could inspire a new wave of perfume packaging that is not just beautiful, but also intimate, interactive, and story-rich, reflecting relationships and identity in a more meaningful way.

One of our main goals was to ensure that each half felt comfortable and intuitive to hold and use independently.We carefully studied hand positioning and natural grip angles to place the dispensers where users could easily access them without awkward finger placement or strain. The sprayers are positioned near the top edges of each half, aligned with the diagonal split, so they remain unobstructed whether the halves are used separately or joined.Additionally, we optimized the size and weight distribution to provide a stable grip and prevent slipping. The design balances elegance with practicality, so the act of spraying becomes a seamless, almost ritualistic experience — reinforcing the intimate connection the fragrance represents.

The pyramid shape itself is inherently distinctive breaking away from traditional bottle silhouettes to immediately capture attention with its bold geometry.The diagonal split not only reinforces the concept of duality and connection but also adds a dynamic visual tension that invites closer inspection. Using crystal-clear, high-quality glass with precise edges enhances the play of light and shadow, giving the bottle a luxurious, almost jewel-like appearance.We also prioritized tactile engagement the way the two halves magnetically click together encourages interaction, making the bottle memorable and desirable on the shelf. In our case, the duality and unity of the pyramid shape became a physical expression of love and partnership.Another important lesson is to embrace technical challenges as opportunities rather than obstacles. Balancing symbolism, functionality, and manufacturability pushed us to think creatively and collaborate closely across disciplines, from engineering to materials science.Finally, I would encourage emerging designers to push boundaries but remain user-focused.
