View Design DetailsBalancing heritage and modernity in the eQuia Keto Line packaging was a central focus of our designapproach. The sketching style of almonds reflects the authentic spirit and mood of the product. Almondblossoms, a traditional motif, were chosen after revisiting the product's roots for their cultural symbolismand connection to nature, emphasizing the natural and wholesome ingredients at the core of the product.To reflect modernity, we integrated the traditional elements with a contemporary typeface and abstractpatterns. This reimagining of the motif creates a modern aesthetic while preserving its essence. The color palette, blending earthy tones with vibrant accents, evokes a natural feel and underscores the brand’s commitment to authenticity.Every design decision, from layout to typography, was thoughtfully crafted to showcase the product'sfoundation in nature while appealing to a modern and younger audience. This fusion ultimately reflectsthe product’s core promise: supporting wellness and a healthy lifestyle.
To address this challenge, we focused on creating a harmonious design that seamlessly integratesthree languages while maintaining the elegant simplicity of the packaging. Our key objective was toprioritize clarity and legibility without overwhelming the visual composition.We selected a clean, modern typeface that complements the overall design, ensuring each language isbalanced and easy to read. The layout was meticulously structured, giving each language ample spaceto breathe and avoiding visual clutter. We adjusted font sizes, amplifying the English language whilekeeping the Arabic slightly smaller for contrast.Choosing the right font was critical to ensuring the languages are visually appealing and cohesive,without one overpowering the others. To maintain a clear hierarchy, we designated primary andsecondary languages on the front, while placing the French language on the back side.
eQuia is a brand known for its focus on health and wellness, using natural ingredients to create products that prioritize wholesomeness. For the Keto line, we ensured that the natural aspect remained central, highlighting its authenticity through carefully selected colors. Our goal was to reflect the product’s healthy and natural qualities using a palette inspired by everyday elements of nature that people connect with in their daily lives.The palette features Light Green, symbolizing lush foliage and representing harmony, safety, and health. Calming Blues capture the serenity of clear skies and tranquil waters, bringing a sense of peace and openness. Golden Sunlight Shades, with warm yellows, evoke the uplifting warmth and positivity of sunlight. These colors not only emphasize the natural foundation of the products but also create a visual identity that resonates with the essence of health and well-being.
The use of matte background provides a sophisticated base that enhances the overall aesthetic. It offers a tactile experience, inviting consumers to engage with the product on a sensory level. The matte finish also serves as a canvas that allows the UV spot detailing to stand out dramatically.Implementing UV spot detailing added a high end dimension to the packaging. From a technical standpoint, this involves precise printing techniques, where a glossy finish is applied selectively to certain areas. this allows to highlight main information and key elements such as brand logo, product name, claims.... It also creates a striking contrast against the matte background.
With decades of experience in FDA compliance and packaging regulation, we have gained a comprehensive understanding of how to create packaging that not only meets strict guidelines but also captures visual appeal. Our expertise enables us to design packages that strike the right balance between regulatory requirements and creative expression, making them appealing to a wide audience while aligning with multinational design standards.FDA regulations require precise attention to details such as font size, proportion, placement of nutritional information, ingredient lists, structure, and claims. By prominently displaying nutritional facts in a clear, legible format, along with accurate ingredient lists and any required disclaimers related to health and wellness, we ensure compliance. Drawing on our experience, we carefully integrate these elements into the design while ensuring the packaging remains visually appealing and on-brand.
The design of the resealable pouches with tear notches in the eQuia Keto Line was developed through an in-depth study of user behavior and the practical needs of our target consumers. Through group studies, market research, and product validation, we identified that users highly value packaging that offers ease of access and the ability to reseal for long-term freshness. This packaging is designed to preserve freshness effortlessly while ensuring the product stands out on the shelf.
