Your transformation of the old airport terminal into GTR and Teleport Office brilliantly preserves aviation heritage - could you elaborate on how the airplane turbines, wings, and runway elements were reimagined to create meaningful workspaces while honoring the building's history?

Those aviation element with curved, industrial design evokes a sense of motion and innovation, reflecting the terminal's aviation history while fostering creativity and collaboration. We hope the design choices ensure the space feels vibrant and contemporary while paying homage to the history and spirit of the site. Each element not only tells a story but also inspires those who work there, creating a unique blend of past and future.

The lighting design in GTR and Teleport Office, particularly the runway-inspired light strips, creates a powerful sense of momentum - what inspired this innovative approach to using illumination as a tool for enhancing workplace efficiency and motivation?

We wanted to create a guide movement through the office, echoing the terminal’s role in directing journeys. Lighting inspired by runway edge lights might add a subtle, atmospheric connection to the building's past.

The perforated panels dividing GTR and Teleport Office's workspace and recreation areas strike an intriguing balance between openness and privacy - could you share your design thinking behind this architectural solution and its impact on workplace dynamics?

Perforated panels offer a visual connection between spaces, maintaining a sense of openness while subtly defining different zones. Clear yet permeable divisions create distinct zones for work and recreation, encouraging employees to engage in both productivity and relaxation without one encroaching on the other. The design of the perforations could subtly reference aviation motifs and symbols. This ties the panels to the building's heritage, reinforcing its narrative.

In designing GTR and Teleport Office, how did you approach the challenge of creating distinct identities for two different companies while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic within the shared terminal space?

The shared space likely utilizes a unified architectural framework, such as a consistent material palette, lighting design, or structural elements, to maintain cohesion. Within this framework:GTR emphasizes bold, industrial elements (e.g., exposed steel or turbine-inspired designs) to reflect its focus on performance and logistics.Teleport Office lean into sleek, futuristic finishes (e.g., dynamic LED lighting) to highlight its tech-forward identity.Areas like meeting rooms, cafes, or lounges maintains neutrality with a versatile design that subtly integrates motifs from both companies. Modular furniture, adaptable layouts, and neutral tones ensure these spaces are functional for both organizations.

The dimensional printing of a universe hole in GTR and Teleport Office adds an unexpected element of whimsy to a corporate environment - what drove this bold design decision and how does it align with your vision for modern workplace culture?

The "universe hole" likely draws on the concept of exploration and discovery, aligning with the aviation heritage of the terminal and the innovative ethos of GTR and Teleport Office. It evokes boundless Potential, creating a visual metaphor for infinite possibilities, encouraging employees to think beyond boundaries and embrace creativity. Secondly, it enhances the inspiration for Innovation Through Imagination. By introducing a fantastical element, the design underscores the importance of curiosity and playfulness in fostering groundbreaking ideas.

The wing-shaped bar top and turbine-inspired seating areas in GTR and Teleport Office demonstrate remarkable creativity in functional design - could you walk us through the process of transforming these aviation elements into practical workplace features?

The design draws inspiration from the building's aviation heritage, integrating recognizable elements of aircraft into everyday office features to create a narrative of innovation, movement, and history. The idea starts with imagining how these elements—wings and turbines—can transition from purely mechanical components into forms that serve practical needs in a workplace, such as providing surfaces for interaction or comfortable seating. The bar top replicates the aerodynamic curve of an airplane wing, with special selection of aluminum materials and colors of industrial feel.

Your Gold A' Design Award-winning GTR and Teleport Office masterfully balances industrial elements with vibrant touches - how did you determine the perfect mix of materials, colors, and textures to create this harmonious environment?

We work on balancing industrial elements with vibrant touches in the GTR and Teleport Office to achieve a harmonious environment required a thoughtful and layered approach to selecting materials, colors, and textures. For examples: We are anchoring the design with Industrial elements such as steel and aluminum, glass, grey and white silver tone of colors were chosen for their connection to aviation and their modern, sleek appearance. We also introduce contrasting finishes and vibrant touches for energy and warmth, by using some accent colors of orange, which is also the corporate colors of GTR.

The tunnel-like architrave entrances of GTR and Teleport Office create a powerful first impression - what was your vision behind these dramatic transitional spaces and how do they enhance the overall user experience?

The tunnel-like design evokes the feeling of entering a new world or embarking on a journey, resonating with the aviation history of the space. It metaphorically invites employees and visitors to step into an environment of innovation, creativity, and limitless potential. The forms of the architraves echo the fuselage of an aircraft or the geometry of a jet engine. This design subtly ties back to the building’s origins while creating a narrative of movement and progress.

Looking at GTR and Teleport Office's success in fostering both productivity and creativity, how do you envision this design influencing the future of workplace architecture, particularly in repurposed historical spaces?

The design of GTR and Teleport Office exemplifies how workplace architecture can honor history while embracing modernity. In the future, adaptive reuse could become a key strategy for balancing environmental and cultural priorities, with workplaces leading the way in breathing new life into historical spaces. Workplaces in historical spaces will increasingly integrate narratives tied to the building's past, blending cultural significance with a company’s vision.

The large platform in GTR and Teleport Office serves multiple functions while featuring the signature wing installation - could you discuss how this versatile centerpiece embodies your approach to creating spaces that seamlessly blend work and social interaction?

The platform is designed to adapt to a variety of uses, making it a dynamic centerpiece of the workspace. It serves as a stage for presentations or team announcements, reinforcing its role as a collaborative focal point. It acts as a breakout area for brainstorming sessions or impromptu meetings. it functions as a space for recreational activities or celebrations, enhancing workplace culture.
